On the 9th of September 2024, medical history was made as Tamil Nadu’s first automated surgical robot completed its first successful procedure at Raksha Hospitals in Madurai.
MISSO is the first Indian – origin surgical robot of its kind, constructed and developed wholly in India. It is fully automated and A.I.–powered and is the first of its kind in Tamil Nadu, available at Raksha Hospitals.
